Site Clearance

KPS under take all types of ground clearance works and have worked for companies such as Baratts, Rydon Construction, Walkers and Colas. Alongside our staff operating strimmers and chainsaws we are also able to provide 360-degree excavators, JCB loaders and our Jenz waste shredder. All of this equipment is fully mobile.

The Jenz

The Jenz AZ35 is one of a range of waste shredding products by Jenz, renowned the world over for quality, reliability and maximum performance.

Powered by a 200hp Mercedes Benz diesel engine (specifically designed to produce low emissions), the AZ35 efficiently shreds organic waste material; from bark to old timber, whilst providing optimal protection against dust with a rotating radiator screen. The heart of the machine is the shredder mechanism, a rotating roller with 30 hammers and 30 blades, (blades are easily replaced).



The AZ35 will take material up to 35cm in diameter. If material larger than this is attempted, it will automatically back feed, and if the hammer becomes too congested it slows down or stops feeding; then begins automatically when clear. This is just one of the various fail-safe systems employed. One man operation is via four channel remote control. Based on green waste material, 20 tonnes input will produce 60 cubic meters of processed material per hour. Output capacities for other types of waste are:-

  • Bark up to 120 cbm/h
  • Old timber up to 50 cbm/h
  • Pre-treated old timber up to 100 cbm/h
  • For on site manoeuvring the AZ35 comes coupled to the Fastrac 185 - top of the JCB range.
  • Powered by Cummins 6.1litre engine with a road speed of 45mp/h for haulage work, the Fastrac 185 comes complete with a self-loading Hiab crane and timber grab.
